Kristen Park (she/her) is a Korean-Chinese American writer and researcher. Raised in Brooklyn, New York and central New Jersey, she is currently based in Baltimore, Maryland. Her work spans science fiction, contemporary fiction, and poetry. Her writing has been recognized by the National YoungArts Foundation and the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

She is a third year undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University studying Applied Mathematics and Statistics with a minor in Writing Seminars. Passionate about the applications of mathematics, Kristen is particularly interested in its intersection with human medicine and the environment. She conducts research on genomic interactions in large mitochondrial DNA datasets at the Arking Lab.

In her free time, she explores museums and independent bookstores, lifts weights, ponders life, and takes photos.
